Seven psychopaths Movie Review

PAW PAW... NO PAW... THAT'S FINE TOO...

Director: Martin McDonagh

Starring: Collin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Abbie Cornish, Sam Rockwell, Olga Kurylenko, Gabourey Sidibe, Kevin Corrigan, Brendan Sexton III, Tom Waits

Genre: Comedy, Thriller

OVERALL PRIYA RATING: 6/10 Just met the bare average for me

All I could think of during most of the movie was the Japanese torture where they tied a person up and really slowly pricked your eyes with needles. EEEEEKS!!!!!! That and the Quaker guy smoking a cigarette after slicing his throat!!! OUCH!!!
This film revolves around a film maker Marty and his best friend Billy, an unemployed actor (and a part time dog thief.... sorry I mean part time working in the dog "borrowing" business) who inspires him to continue writing his screen play about seven "psychopaths"

It's not the best written movie. In fact it's a little adhoc. The psychopaths didn't quite humor me when they randomly changed from "oooh I'm so gangster" to "I'm a little wussy" .

I could relate to some things they mentioned in the film. I mean I always run into situations where I didn't really break someones nose, it just happened to be in the middle of what I was punching.

And that Shih Tzu!!!! Such a cutie pie. I cold cuddle up with him allllllllllllll night long!!!! He looked so depressed throughout the movie!!! Probably was too stressed out acting in such a rubbish movie!! I mean, it had to read books such as breast cancer awareness for his role!!!

I did learn one thing about poodles. They look miserable as if they are crying because they got dumped by their girlfriend due to drinking problems (WTF?????)

And I think rabbits have scarred me for life. First the creepy one in Silent Hill Revelations and now a cute looking, blood licking one in Seven Psychopaths!!!!

And I'm sure Gandhi must be turning and twisting in his grave. I bet he never thought of the fact that and eye for an eye can't leave the whole world blind, because at the end there will be one guy left with one eye. How's the last blind guy going to take out the eye of the last guy left!!!!

  1. You know I agree with you whole heartedly. Nothing really made sense for me throughout the film - one minute they were talking about shooting bad guys up and then they would burst into tears. The humour was a little array.

And all I could think about after was that quaker guy too!!
